49ers Vs. Steelers
The Steelers won the coin flip but deferred. The steelers onside kick was recovered by the 49ers. The first play #21 Jacko ran a touchdown and the 2 point conversion was good. The 49ers stopped the Steelers to a three and out before punting, with the 49ers #5 Tyson Lincavage advancing the ball with a 10 yard return. On a QB rollout, #5 Tyson Lincavage scored on the second play of the drive.
After the Steelers take possession, a fumbled snap resulted in a turnover after the 49ers recovered the ball on the Steelers 5 yard line. #21 Jacko runs in the touchdown to take a 21 – 0 lead.
Following an unsuccessful series by the Steelers, a bad snap on a punt caused the Steelers a big loss after #1 Magnane made a big tackle, setting the 49ers up with good field position. This lead to another touchdown by the 49ers on the first play and they successfully converted the extra point. At the end of the first quarter the niners lead 28-0.
in the 2nd Quarter, the steelers were forced to punt and #21 Jacko ran the punt return back with scoring a touchdown. On the P.A.T, the 49ers #5 Tyson Lincavage ran the ball in successfully. After taking possession of the ball, Steelers #21 Talbot had a great run breaking a few tackles, but the drive resulted in an interception by the Niners, #28 Velazquez on the 40 yard line . On the first play after the interception #5 Tyson Lincavage ran a long touchdown run with 3 or 4 stiff arms, the play was called back after an illegal hit to #28 Hunter on the steelers. At the end of the half the score was 35-0, 49ers.
In the 4th Quarter, the Steelers fumbled the ball and it was recovered by the 49ers, during the play a facemask penalty was called against the Steelers. The 49ers #5 Tyson Lincavage threw the ball for a touchdown resulting in a final score of 42 – 0.
